Big Girl

It's funny how time flies. Just the other day I was looking at Emily and thinking that she is looking more and more like a little girl and less like a baby. She's talking so much, knows her letters, and is becoming quite the little gymnast! I can hardly believe that she will be 2 years old next month! Where did my baby go??

Bad Blogger!

Well, try as I may, I am not doing too well at this blogging thing. This is mostly because I am in dire need of a new camera! Mine is seriously on it's last legs and most of the time won't even turn on. However, I got some cute pics from my "cousin" Mary Beth that were taken during our Gulf Shores vacation this July. Emily was "surfing". She cracks me up!

What a Weekend!

So this weekend, Stephen went out of town on a church retreat. It was definitely a different experience for me, because we have not been able to talk since Thursday night when he left. We've been together almost 5 years and this is the longest time we have gone without talking. It's so weird! However, I have managed to keep myself very busy!


Today I played co-hostess for my sister's baby shower. Here are some highlights of the event. Needless to say, I'm exhausted!

Zooooo

Yesterday we went to the zoo for our friend, Atticus's birthday party. It was lots of fun, except for the multitude of temper tantrums that we witnessed from Emmy-Lou. She has started this thing where she throws herself on the ground and screams when she is not getting her way. It is precious. That is sarcasm. However, she did enjoy the carousel ride, even if she looks terrified in the pics!

Katie and Rydie-Roo are coming tomorrow!!

Yayayayayayayyyy!!! Emily can't wait to see her boy-toy! Why must they grow so fast?

First Post!!

So, I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I have a Facebook, and for that my husband thinks I'm crazy. Now I have a blog. What is the world coming to?!

I think this will be fun! Not that anyone will actually read it, but at least I will! Hopefully I will be able to figure all this out! Wish me luck!
